Coconut Bowls is more than just a brand - we’re a movement for global sustainability grounded in tangible action. Our responsibility is to ensure we have a positive impact on people and the planet at every step of the Coconut Bowls journey.
We believe the privilege of doing business means actively investing in our planet.
On July 1st 2019 - Coconut Bowls became a verified member of 1% for the planet, where 1% of our annual revenue is directly invested into approved environmental initiatives certified by 1% for the planet.
Cool Effect carbon credits allow us to offset the emissions produced by shipping and restore balance in our atmosphere. We purchased carbon credits going back to our very first Coconut Bowls delivery, making our entire business carbon neutral.
We’re part of a global community and, to us at Coconut Bowls, that means contributing to positive change. When raging forest fires threatened animals, people and planet in the Amazon and Australia in 2019/2020 we directed donations to Rainforest Alliance, WIRES and Bushfire Relief. If building biogas digesters with Cool Effect for rural farmers in Vietnam helps manage waste and gives a community access to clean, safe energy then we’re in.
By becoming a Certified B Corporation we’ve joined a global movement of people harnessing the power of business, to turn profits and growth into positive impact for employees, communities, and the environment.
