Through our partnership with Cool Effect, we offset all of the carbon created from shipping our products from the farm to your front door. Cool Effect is a not-for-profit that provides the opportunity to fund local projects that are scientifically and financially strong. Each ethically sound investment we make helps heal the planet, one small action at a time.
We achieve carbon neutral shipping through offsetting the carbon created from our shipments through the purchase of carbon credits. By purchasing carbon credits through Cool Effect, funds are used to combat carbon by restoring balance in our atmosphere, by planting trees and funding reforestation, solar and clean energy projects.
By choosing to have localised warehouses in our major business regions we are able to transport Coconut Bowls by sea rather than air. While it takes longer to arrive, the carbon emissions from ocean freight are minuscule compared with air freight. Until new sustainable transport technologies become available we commit to minimising our environmental impact wherever possible.
